We have a number of groups who meet in a variety of ways. We know we have a group you will like, whether you want to build close relationships, pray together, or study God's word.
When we are able to meet on a Sunday we make a crèche available for children under 3 during the service in a room adjacent to the Performance Hall. Parents are welcome to stay with their children or leave them to be looked after by our crèche staff.
For children aged between 3 and 11 we currently meet via Zoom for 25 minutes every Sunday morning ahead of our YouTube Service.
It is a time for sharing news, hearing bible stories, playing games - and at the start of each term every child receives a craft pack so that we can still have fun making things together.
We have an active youth work at OBC with several groups meeting regularly. We make it our priority to welcome, encourage and nurture our youth. We want them to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and to work out what following him means to their everyday living.
We have recently resumed some face to face meetings after lockdown, though we continue to use Zoom where this is not possible. Currently there are 5 groups meeting:
Sunday Youth on Zoom
Aimed at secondary aged children, this takes place immediately after our YouTube Service on a Sunday morning. It lasts around half an hour and includes a short talk or study, games and prayers.
For secondary aged girls, this group now meets face to face at a Covid-secure venue for an hour every fortnight to catch up, chat, pray and reflect together.
For secondary aged boys, this group also now meets face to face at a Covid-secure venue for an hour every fortnight. Usually its loud, entertaining and lots of fun with a bit of spiritual input thrown in.
For years 10-13 girls and boys. The group meets monthly for a deeper study and discussion on a relevant topic.
Years 7 Zoom Group
A group just for the autumn term to help the year 7s settle in to the youth work. This is a Zoom call scheduled for a few meetings during the term.

Women meet together frequently to engage in fun activities. It is a great opportunity to get to know one another and also encourage each person to know God better. A group where support is not only spoken, but active throughout the week!
Men's Breakfast Plus
Our aim is to provide a get-together where we can support and encourage one another, while also looking at what it means to be an active Christian in today’s society.
Creative Arts Group
OBC Creative Arts is the arts ministry group of creative people from the churches across Bicester and surrounding villages. This art ministry seeks through God's' gifting to nurture creative people artistically and spiritually in community. Come and Celebrate the Lord's' Glory in artistic expression and worship.
When possible our OBC Social group plans a wide range of activities like quiz nights, night walks, geo-cache walks, film nights and other events for the church to socialise. We're looking forward to meeting up again!
